Thank you for asking. No swimming for humans or animals. Also leashes are required at this park. Both large grass areas are next to the children's playground and the entire park is surrounded by a path used by bikers, joggers and people on walks. There are no fenced areas where it would be safe to unleash a dog. It's a great park even though it doesn't allow leash less dogs. It's worth checking out for picnics, fishing, walks and taking the kids out to play. For dog owners I would suggest Steele Indian Park instead. It's on the corner of Central and Indian School. It's the largest park I know of in the area. It's clean, has plenty of paths to walk and bike plus a large part of the park was set aside just for dogs and their owners to play. There are also 2 large fenced areas where dogs can run around leash free.

These ponds are the output from a water treatment plant. You don't want to swim in it. Or your pets.

I wouldn't. You will have to wash your dog after.

There is a sign that says dogs must be on a leash at all times. I suppose you can let them swim, but you are not suppose to. As long as no one complains.

I have seen dogs in the water there.
