Afternoon Friday - parking was good(weekends are difficult) - hydrate/ it’s a hike! - views are scenic - Rocky but we’ll defined paths -clean -frequently traveled and used for training -didn’t get to see the big 🦎 (darn) -the peak is gorgeous - I didn’t think was extreme like it was marked (even though steep) - stayed until night fall and the hike down was as good as the hike up. Used a headlamp… when we got to the bottom and looked back up - the mountain trail was peppered with moving headlamps of people returning… way 😎

One of my favorite places in Phoenix to go hiking. I personally enjoy the hard trails and this is one of them.

Best views in valley...difficult summit trail hike...others are less challenging
