In theory you can just walk in and buy tickets. However, this is not a good strategy because you may not get your first choice game with the property number of tickets. I've purchased the hours ahead of time with no issue, but there were only there of us.
If you want to guarantee the are enough spaces for your group at a certain time and for the room you want, then yes it's best to make a reservation. I would imagine you can do walk-ins too, but reservations are a better bet.
