Call them, this is not stray rescue. It's a question site to ask questions of people who have been there.
When I adopted my dog 7 weeks ago, they had dachshund available. I almost chose her but went for a smaller dog. Check their adoption page.
Dachshunds aren't dumped at the rate other dogs are, so they don't come up at Stray Rescue on a regular basis. You can browse available dogs on the Stray Rescue website. You can also fill out an application and explain what you're looking for and the staff will help as much as they can. Also, if you open yourself to other breeds and mutts, you may be surprised when the perfect dog comes along and it looks like nothing you expected.
