You should be able to call whomever generated the tracking label for the missing number unless the package came from China. Then you would have to wait until the package shows up or if it changes had in the U.S. it will generate a new label and send through the postal office and not through UPS or Fedx.
Just with that information, they should be able to locate your package at the counter. Smile.
