I’ll be filing a discrimination suit. Thanks for kicking me out bc I had two drinks. I am a big girl who leaned against a table that moved. Look forward to our lawyers talking ;)

This place so the most RACIST establishment in the St. Louis region. They are extremely racist toward black people especially Black men. I was accused of roofing people without any sort of evidence and I was kicked out just like that.

Spent much money throughout the afternoon/evening. Supported the cardinals and blues with them. Upstairs did not have the game systems working, each wii remote dead and the system had ZERO games prepared. Waste of money. In frustration, laid down on the couch to exhale a breathe (literally one decompressing breathe) and reset mentality to try and enjoy the evening (post midnight). In that moment of despair and frustration, bouncer came up to kick us out because in his words “we did not fit the dynamic of the evening”. Not joking, that’s verbatim. Back to downstairs but still wanted to have a good night and spend money, we were then told to leave the premises for a similar reason. The feeling of disrespect was extremely unexpected and we still don’t know where it came from. This is not an environment we plan to be around again, and will be taking our business to Up Down for gaming bars and just about anywhere else downtown for our time. The owners of Start Bar and Wheelhouse are the same so we also will not be spending any time or money at wheelhouse either. Huge bummer for them. 0/10 recommend, even if you fit their description for the crowd they went to attract. Sorry to disappoint as the price and vibes are not worth it whatsoever.

Strange it was as empty as it was on a Saturday of a cardinals home game. Kitchen was closed, place was okay

I wouldn't advise it considering it's designed to be a space for adults free of children. People are not going to hold back and little Timmy might learn some new words.
Tuesday-Friday 4pm-7pm $3 Busch, Busch Lite, and PBR. 1/2 off frozen drinks, $5 1-topping pizzas
Both but on a Tuesday, it shouldn't be bad.
like an arcade. there are just games all over and you put coins in them to play.
Email parties@startbarstl to reserve a lounge!
Nah no dress code
They often turn games on free play, often on weekdays. I'm not sure what the exact schedule is for it, but I've often walked in to find the games are free.
Good question. I would guess 1AM. Only way to know for sure is to call and ask though.
House of the dead 1 and 2, ski ball, the Simpsons arcade, some claw machines, air hockey, and some other older arcade cabinets. Also there is an upstairs area with Nintendo 64s that you can rent hourly.
Don't see why not
They didn't the last yime i was there.
They close your tab at the end of the night. I'm pretty sure they add 20% gratuity.
To pay for the arcade games. The games however are free to play on any day except for Friday and Saturday.
Not really, it's generally geared toward adults and I don't think the staff would appreciate children there.
I don't think so it's a 21 and up bar
