Went to get Senegalese braids to my butt (2) weeks ago spent $280 plus a $25 tip went back today to show how my braids are unraveling I WILL NEVA GO BACK!!!! My loss i have to take these braids out after two weeks ridiculous

I am disappointed with this business. I was going back to Tos month after month. I remained a loyal client (even though her prices kept on going up every single visit with NO warning or even care for client loyalty). For large box braids, it started as $180. Not including tip I would give her. Next thing I know, her prices kept going up each and every time I went back to her FOR THE SAME SERVICE. Reluctantly; I stayed with her because there’s not a lot of braiders nearby that can squeeze in on shorter notice. This woman does not even wash hair, nor provide good quality braiding hair, yet she prices ridiculously. The last time I inquired about large box braids, this woman had the nerve to tell me it would be $260! ….. when I questioned her prices; she didn’t even have an answer for me. How can a business owner operate like this? It’s mind boggling. Her shop is dirty and unwelcoming. She doesn’t even play music or have a nice setting. She just sits there blasting her sitcoms on her phone at high volume right next to my ear the entire service. The only thing that kept me going back to her was how fast she braids. But otherwise, you have to basically tell her to make your parts straight, and listen to her complain and find ways to raise the prices unreasonably. If you bring in braiding hair that is only a couple of inches longer than the hair she “provides”, she will be rude and hike the prices up at least $40 for such a small amount of extra length. The nerve. Her attitude sucks, and it’s a shame. Do yourself a favor and save your money. She has no care for loyal clients. She swindles you out of money and expect tips on top of her ridiculously overpriced services. So disappointed, but I refuse to be taken advantage by her any more.
