Is this place actually even open? Went at 8:30 pm today (Monday) and it was closed and there was a sign on the door saying it wasn't a Japanese restaurant.

That is likely Tanuki a Japanese drinking food inspired bar/restaurant. It is an interesting tasty experience unto itself but is not nor is it affiliated with miyamoto.

Ok miyamoto is around corner from roscoes, it's on81st turn right off stark on right side of 81st just before bike shop open from I believe 4pm to 10pm. Awesome crew got couple friends there and another was there. The place with the not Japanese restaurant sign I don't know name of but it's on stark between81st and 80th across from tub n tan

They are closed on Mondays. That’s not the right entrance😅

We were there on Feb 22 and it was definitely open then. They're supposed to be open until 10pm according to the hours listed on their Facebook page.
