For a sushi track, the price per plate is a little higher than some, and at the time we went there wasn't as much variety as I'd like to have seen, BUT the quality is great/fresh, and you get a healthy portion of fish in each maki/nigiri. Definitely recommend for good, quick, fresh, tasty, reasonably priced sushi! 🍣

Sushi is of pretty bad quality. The rice is always stiff and the sauce is always off. Two of the four plates I got had gone bad to the point I had to spit it out. I've been here twice and both times were... unfortunate. There are so many good sushi places around, this isn't one of them.

I was a regular customer, given I have 2 appts per week in the area. I've been understanding in the past, being served tea in a dirty cup and mischarged for my food on a handful of occasions. Today they didn't have food on the conveyor belt and they were having folks order from the menu. I decided to try a bowl of udon ($11) which I understood to come with a couple of pieces of tempera shrimp and a couple pieces of tempera broccoli, just like every other sushi place I've ordered it at. They brought my udon and then a bunch of tempera on a separate plate that I wasn't expecting. I ate my udon and the shrimp that came with it and a couple of pieces of broccoli from the tempura plate. Then, as I'm finishing up and getting ready to pay the bill and leave, they tried to bring me more food I didn't order! At the register she wanted to charge me for all this food I didn't order/eat. I relented and said I'd pay $11 for the udon and shrimp, and a little extra for the couple of pieces of broccoli I ate, which she felt was valued at $9!!!! So I paid the unfair bill and then told them they lost a regular customer. I was good for about $20-30/week when I came to eat after my appts, but now I'm going to find another restaurant worthy of my money.

Not a good experience. My friend and I went here for lunch, we both love sushi and were willing to overlook the poor reviews on Yelp. We now have a new rule, no places scoring below 4 stars on yelp. Google can't be trusted when it comes to deciding on where to eat. Everything about this place was bad. The service was pretty bad, not really important though. The rolls were poorly designed, over complicated and just bad quality. The food tasted old, my cucumber salad felt and tasted like it was left sitting for days. My friend mentioned that even the ginger was old and covered in blemishes. We both felt a little unwell leaving and hope to escape the food poisoning we suspect is likely. Grocery store sushi is a step up from what we experienced here today.

Questions & Answers

Are they still doing conveyor belt sushi? I know the one in Vancouver isn't right now.

I have not seen brown rice offered at this sushi bar. It may be available upon request.
