There are a few trails a few miles north of the campsite, but there's been such little rainfall that there isn't much water in lower big sur

How far is the beach from the campsite?
I GOT A NOTICE THAT Plaskett creek was closed through December 7th. I went to change my reservation and I got no notice that the campground is closed. Does anyone know if the campground is currently opened?
Is the RV camping dry camping? Is there any electrical hookups?
Why are spots reserved ahead of release date? I'm looking at weekends in July and there's spot already reserved, yet I'm not allowed to book. Whats the deal?
