It is a nice place. I highly recommend you take precautions against the ground squirrels. By placing lights in your engine compartment at night to keep the fur rodents out. It is quiet here and the sky at night is something to behold.

This rustic and quiet which I love. The staff is top notch.

Quiet and enough space each site, clean washroom and hot shower.

Went here to visit my son and right as we drove in there was a family of 8 deer grazing as we drove by. They didn’t get startled and just nonchalantly looked at us and kept on with their daily chores. My son gave us a tour..showed us the pool area and bathrooms..which were really nice by the way...including stand up showers with tiled walls and floors. We saw a huge eucalyptus tree with a large gathering of vultures..my son says they roost there every night.

Thousand Trails started asking for proof of car insurance several years ago. Even guests visiting are asked for it.
San benito is open 7 days a week
We purchased the wifi for the 2 weeks that we were there. It was poor at best and non existent on Sundays and Holidays (Xmas & New Year) but better than our own Verizon Hotspot which never got more than one bar.
Have some spots with fire pits but on another spots without they don't.
Nothing works here and everything is closed NO STORE NO ADULT POOL OR ADULT LODGE NO FURE PITS WHICH I CAN UNDERSTAND AND LIMITED FAMILY POOL
No, all of the spots do not have sewer hookups. But the map when you check in will let you know. But the absolutely most important thing to have is a current insurance and registration, if those are not good or you have no printed proof. Just keep driving. Other than that have fun.
There's a mini market about 3 miles from 1000 trails when you go towards Tres Pinos\Hollister. Can't miss it, first buildings once you turn onto the main rd
Yes! This is a dog friendly campground!
You'll have to call Thousand Trails San Benito direct if it occurs there. Otherwise I have no knowledge of this program. Sorry.
