There are parking places around the whole Alamo buildings and there are a few parking garages
Use the street if you go the public parking it's too spency.

We also used a parking gsrage. Was $20 for the first hour. Short walk, but expensive.
They have parking lots ours cost $20+ for the day.

Park at any metered parking a few blocks down, and walk. Its not as far as youd think!
There was a public parking area close to the rainforest/Riverwalk that was walking distance from everything.
You can pay for it around the surrounding buildings, or you can park a little farther out by the freeway for free.
Public parking is where we parked and paid online. A car did get toad. So please pay.

There are several (pay) parking lots around the area. Considering it's free to get into the Alamo (unless you do the -highly recommend!- audio tour at $9 ea) it's not bad. There's tons to do and see down there, so make a day of it!
