Black Mountain Campground opens on April 15, 2020. At the end of March gates will still be closed and so will the bathrooms. Reservations are available at www.recreation.gov. Please visit, if you can, after April 15.

Yeah. Someone said they're able to get in early April but it doesnt say it's open until the 15th. I know you can sometimes go off season with campgrounds but not entirely sure with this one.

It's always a good idea to call them first. It's a long drive up. It would be terrible to drive up there and nothing be available. At the end of March? I am not sure.
