Can’t sing enough praises for YCHS. They made our adoption process as simple as possible while still being thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. From the first email that I sent to loading up the car with us, they were just so helpful. It’s a building full of animals who have all the love to give and people who devote their lives to them. Well, I am not sure about the battery; or the battery acid of the battery; but I know to make them puke hydrogen peroxide and water works; to neutralize poison activated charcoal, and the old type rat poison can be neutralized with vitamin K. If it is my pet, I would probably do the activated charcoal approach. Mix it in a little water; to the consistency of Elmers glue or a little thinner; and syringe a whole lot into the side of their mouth. It will get very messy! You can usually find the activated charcoal at any pharmacy. Do NOT use the charcoal that is used in your barbecue grill

If they are strays, no. If they are personally owned animals there might be depending on the situation. We do require that all mothers be signed up for our spay program at you expense so we don't perpetuate the cycle.
Actually our fees are variable. Depends on age and when we might be having specials. You can give us a call at the shelter or send an email to ask about a specific dog.
