If I could give negative stars I would. They do not follow policies and procedures. They do not abide by constitutional rights. They do not support survivors. Their training is severely lacking. I highly recommend not being a survivor in Yancey county, you will be treated like trash by the entire sheriffs department.

I just wanted to say even as An inmate and Yancey County Jail the service was great the people there were nice and the food was great. Having said that I just wanted to leave a good review Stating that Yancey county sheriff department are doing a good job.
