My partner is a patient, and often times does call in the morning and gets a same day appointment. They are one of the few clinics that really work with you, and are more affordable than most in Nashville, though still costly. Ask to be "fit in" today, and you'll likely have good results.
They offer appointments, and often CAN squeeze someone in, if you call early enough. Of the clinics in Nashville, who specialize in this type of patient care, they're the most flexible in scheduling that I've seen. This is often necessary, especially when someone is in crisis and needing help, so that they don't resort to habits or self destructing behavior/using again. Give them a call. They're easy to talk with, and understanding of each person's unique situation. I think you'll find Dr Susan, who's one of their staff physicians, to be a wonderful doctor of empathy, understanding, and truly works with you on your needs and personal challenges! It's often impossible to find a doctor who treats someone who's dealing with addiction, withdrawal, or dependency. Often, when you do find a doctor willing to treat you, they're just in it for the large visit costs, and rush you through appointments, so they can get the next patient in. It's not what I've seen with A.M.C Of Nashville.
