My 2 Cents

Saved my life. The doctors, nurses, counselors, and receptionists are professional and respectful. Has high standards and principals that allow you to recover without the stigma of the disease or recovery process. Took a broken person and gave them the tools to become a productive member of society once again. Tried many avenues, but Applegate was the only place that gave me success. You must do what works for you. Dont give up and give Applegate a chance. Saved my life.

If you are serious about your recovery I would not recommend using apple gate recovery. They are rude and do not actually care if their patients are ok . They are in it for the money not to help us addicts fighting addiction

The team is professional , compassionate and informative. Everyone treats you with dignity and are so kind and accommodating. Every single person in the office is amazing. Dr Limbaugh is a true life saver. She will truly listen and design a program specifically for your needs and won't treat your recovery as a one size fits all. If you or a family member are struggling this is the place you want to be!!!

They do prescribe Subutex also. Call and make an appointment. To start you will go once a week for three weeks. After the 3rd appointment you will start monthly visits. It is cash only. $90/week & $250/month. If you have private insurance they will give you a receipt & medical necessity form for reimbursement. Most insurances will pay for your medicine. They drug test you at every visit & watch you drug test at every other visit. After seeing the Dr you will speak briefly with a counselor & then you're done. All the staff are great! Good luck too you!

I'm going to my first visit Monday and i was wondering what happens if I have marijuana in my system when I take a drug test

You're entering treatment... Using substances is WHY you're going, right? You'll receive a "warning", and guidance on the treatment program you'll be participating in. Nothing bad will happen. Most clients have dirty urine tests on their first visits for heroine, meth, opiates, etc. They're used to dealing with users entering treatment obviously, so no worries. Best of luck on thing! AMC is great, compared to many many clinics! Dr Susan is awesome, and so is the staff. You'll get great care, and people who understand your challenges.

Could suboxene help with chronic pain as well as addiction? In other words a patient that has both issues?

Denise Spencer | Oct 15, 2019
David Harrington | Oct 14, 2020

Yes, that is the only reason I take suboxone but they will tell u, u can't use it for pain so lie and say I would go back on pain pills if they don't give u suboxone. I went to pain Dr's for years and u don't get the same feeling as a a pain pill but after it gets in UR system, u notice u don't hurt and it work's better than pain pills cause u don't have to keep wanting more and more. I had to get back on something and I never wanted back on pain pills and someone told me Dr's knew along time ago soboxone is the best pain med u can get but u have to lie and say I don't want to go back on pain pills and why u can't use for pain, it's a joke because it helps mine so much, I thought why would they not start everyone on this. A pill head want like it because they don't get that good feeling but if u really just want to feel better and not hurt, suboxone is the best thing u can take and it builds up in UR system so it's always working

AMC is not a TNCARE provider, so TNCARE will not pay for services or prescription.

Is there a clinic is Nashville that operates like a methadone clinic that you can get a daily dose of suboxene I can’t afford a regular doctor need to find a clinic

garett schwindling | Oct 15, 2018
Carla Chappell | Oct 15, 2018

AMC of Nashville does 2 week & 1 month appointments after you are an established patient. 1st visit is $300 then you can go monthly for $250 or Bi-weekly for $150. They do not accept insurance, but will give you a receipt & medical necessity form so you can file for reimbursement if you have insurance. They also have discount cards for the Suboxone. They drug test at every visit.

Do you have same day appointments

Jim Buckles | Oct 15, 2018
It's Me Jarrett | Oct 15, 2018

My partner is a patient, and often times does call in the morning and gets a same day appointment. They are one of the few clinics that really work with you, and are more affordable than most in Nashville, though still costly. Ask to be "fit in" today, and you'll likely have good results.
