You're entering treatment... Using substances is WHY you're going, right? You'll receive a "warning", and guidance on the treatment program you'll be participating in. Nothing bad will happen. Most clients have dirty urine tests on their first visits for heroine, meth, opiates, etc. They're used to dealing with users entering treatment obviously, so no worries. Best of luck on thing! AMC is great, compared to many many clinics! Dr Susan is awesome, and so is the staff. You'll get great care, and people who understand your challenges.
You will be fine. You will receive your medicine. First test are always dirty, but they do want you to be experiening withdrawals from opiates. That's why they told you not to use for at least 24 hours. They also "observe" every other urine test or more if they're suspicious. AMC is a great place. Also no need to lie if you are dirty. Good luck on your recovery!
They expect your first test to show positive results. However, if you only test positive for marijuana they will not subscribe suboxone. It's for opiate users only
