He can go to uegent care anytime. VA Murfreesboro has a residential treatment program called RRTP but they are proabably booked up. If so, urgent care can help arrange something short termbfor tonight and maybe find a bed in the community on the VA.
I went through the 28 day program in 1995. First, I've been clean ever since. Secondly, at the time, I had two fellow patients tell me they thought it was better than ones they had paid big bucks for. My opinion, the program is a step in the right direction, each person has to make up their mind it's the right one. I've been sober and cocaine free for 23 years because I wanted to be.
Consult a regular doctors office. I don't think the VA will do anything but send him to the seventh floor, unfortunately.

You might consider an option called operation song they tend to help with people with PTSD
