Threshold environment is okay, but be ready. They automatically are worried about their money, so have a job lined up if you lose your job they might get rid of you (from experience) have money when you get out because in the houses it's you on your own (also the owner had everyone leave I biased review)

Love these guys here at Threshold. Definitely the best experience with trying to live a life free from drugs and alcohol. The community actually plays a big part in my sobriety. I'm so happy about my future now more than I ever was knowing I have these guys in my corner. My network is strong these days.

Threshold is a great place for people in recovery. They have really helped me change my life for the better. I have been here 2 months now and couldn’t be happier with how things are going. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sober living house. Nice clean house and good roommates. I really enjoy being here. We do recover!!

We treat anyone staying in any of the sober living homes as a family. While we have a long list of rules, we are serious about a few. Random Drug Testing Daily & Weekly Chores Mandatory House Meeting attendance Cleanliness Zero tolerance to stealing, property destruction, sexual activities between residents, physical or verbal confrontations Taking medications
Overnight passes are available for the residents of any Threshold recovery homes. Yet, to avail them, the resident should have stayed in the house for 30 days after completing step 1 of the 12 step process. Overnight passes are only issued after 24hrs of approval.
Relapse is possible when you are in a recovery process but aren't strong-willed about it. However, relapse while staying in any of our sober living homes is handled on a case-by-case basis.
Threshold Recovery is not a rehab center but the next step after you have completed your rehab program. Our programs are designed for people who have already completed a detox or a rehab program. This gives the residents a firm footing to start their recovery process and begin their journey towards complete sobriety.
At Threshold Recovery, we require the residents to have completed a detox or rehab program and have maintained their sobriety for at least 30 days before moving into one of our sober living homes.
Halfway houses are generally government-funded residences, where the residents relearn the skills required for being absorbed back in society. It either involves the residents staying in large dormitories or living alone for one to six months. Recovery homes, like Threshold Recovery, are independent residences that provide a safe haven for those wishing to become sober. You live in houses shared between two-four other residents and start living an everyday life. There is no stay duration, and the residents are encouraged to take up a job to sustain their expenses. A recovery home aims to enable independent residences that encourage the residents to complete the recovery process at their own pace.
Your stay duration depends on your own recovery needs and the house rules of the recovery home you are staying in. As long as you participate in the daily chores and attend the mandatory house meetings, you can stay in Threshold Recovery Homes.
