I recently moved to Nashville from Colorado and I'm waiting on information to transfer my care. I have been very sick, maybe a cold or flu. I also feel like I'm getting worse and not better. Would it be quicker for me to just go through the ER?

If you go to the E.R. at the V.A., they should be able to confirm your enrollment and be able to treat you. Just be sure to have your V.A. I.D. with you when you go

Thankfully I stay pretty healthy so I've never been to the VA. Do I bring my DD214 and ID? Can I just show up to be seen or do I have to set an appointment, it's for pretty intense pain in my foot and calf making it difficult to walk.
