You legally have to evict him. Don't try just throwing him a d his stuff out he then can sue you or call the cops you'll have to let him back in. You litterly have to go through the whole process of eviction even if he is not on the lease he is a tentant because he did any kind of work for you for rent. I've been through the same thing that's how I know.
