It’s within a 30 -45 minute drive usually. It will depend on if your situation. I travel internationally 5-6 times a year and have had to get an expedited passport for me and several different members of my family several times. We were all traveling within 2 weeks or less and we never got our passport the same day. We got it within 48 hours.
You can reserve a tike or they ask when ypur flight leaves and they will give you priority.
The agency is located downtown Atlanta, a fairly good ways away. To get a passport within a day, you would have to go to the agency early with all required documents including your airline ticket.
