Yes, there are some mountain biking trails, that are shared by the hikers and walkers. The one caveat being none on them are particularly challenging, per se. If you are looking for a challenging ride try the C & O Canal from Georgetown to Great Falls.

There are trails nearby, not very long maybe a half mile. I doubt I'd break out a mountain bike for them
You can ride your bike on the trails, but there are no exclusive biking trails. The best trail for biking would be the Perimeter trail, I think.
