Waave has been my only go-to place for the last two years. It's in a good location and they have great specials and a good point system. For the most part, the staff are friendly. But I went today and encountered a bud-tender that must have been having a bad day or just didn't want to be at work. I've only had one bad experience before today. But they still have me a customer even though friendly customer service can be hit or miss sometimes.

Have been going here for well over a year. Used to work as an employee for about a month. This could be the review you’re looking for or another one of those “disgruntled ex-employee” exposes that gets tossed aside; your choice. So, here we go. As offered above, I’m a “frequent flyer” at Waave. I know a few of the staff members beyond a first-name basis for clarification. In no way do I expect special treatment for these facts. In fact, for future reference, please treat me as a normal person instead of the ex-employee that I am. Despite my complicated relationship to this facility, I’ve now (as a customer) recently become a more direct participant in some of their misguided activities. For example, a few weeks ago I was informally skipped during the “dinner rush” and missed out on a product because there is no accountable process for employees to follow; beyond their own subjective discretion. They now (as of Monday) have a formal skip policy, where “express orders” take preference in the back regardless of position in the waiting area. My Nature’s Medicine fans, this may seem familiar if you’re catching my drift. My point in saying all of this is: customer service isn’t exactly a specialty here. As a person who’s visited almost every dispo from La Plata to Frederick, look elsewhere if you want your stuff quick, without controversy, and with a smile. Hope this helps.
