So I recently renewed my passport at the Nigerian embassy in newyork on the 23rd of last month I also paid to expedite it since I’m traveling soon I was told it will take 7days for it to be mailed to me. But till now nothing. What can I do?

Don’t really get you. I renewed mine though, went for capturing on the 23rd of last month and paid to expedite it with a self addressed priority mail envelope was told it will take 7 days but it took a month.

Nawa oh. Please help me out here. Is the procedure for renewal of passport different from the procedure for applying for a new one. I really need to know cos I don’t wanna do something wrong and they refuse to refund me Or can someone help me with the steps to renew a passport

I am literally in the same situation. Please tell me what has happened. I went in the 8th of this month and paid the 7 day expedited service. I need my passport so I can work. No one picks up the phone or anything.

Hi, it's probably 7 business days and it starts after issue date. Wait two more days especially if you still have time as per traveling date. If you live in the area, go back to the embassy and register your displeasure. Phone is not an option since they don't pick up.
