Visitation is granted by the councillor. It has to b approved. Yes things can get stolen. The counselor will say when you can make call cause you really should be focusing on yourself. Not what's going on in the world. It's true. I had a hard time with it but if I had worried about my kids ETC I wouldn't have gotten clean.
Visitation is once a week but Don't count on it. I'd drive from houston to dallad once a week and front dest wouldnt put my name on file. Filed complaints, faxes, letters then this week visit is guaranteed. Turns out a new girl was working and didn't see my visit authorization. Letters never made it. Money never made it, money and cigs stolen. Be super careful. Dont count on visits and letters because if staff dont want you to have it, you wont.
