In a desperate need of finding a good treatment center for IOP, I found Lighthouse in 2021. They were amazing every day I was there. The previous center I went to was harsh and strict; Lighthouse was not like this at all. Each person that works there was supportive and invested in my recovery. I found great success in completing their IOP program and they even helped me resolve my legal issues.

A family member went through Lighthouse IOP and Sober living with astonishing results. Not only were the staff capable, but they cared for him even when he did not care for himself. I would recommend Lighthouse to anyone in the DFW and/or Texas area looking for quality of care, service, and leadership

I have so many positive things about wonderful team at Lighthouse Recovery Dallas. My experience with them was as a parent of someone in recovery. They walked me through the insurance process and communicated with me through every step. Mike Jones and the team truly care about the people who come to them for help. They personalized the experience and this made all the difference. They were firm but compassionate. I am so thankful for the care my loved one received and the trajectory that her life has taken since going through their program.

Throughout the years I’ve sponsored many men at Lighthouse and always appreciated the owner Mike Jones and the accountability, encouragement and guidance he and the team provided for the residents. After many years sober though, I relapsed in 2019, and found myself in a dark place again. My family suffered greatly and so did I. After spending time in treatment, I then stayed for a time at Lighthouse so I could slowly reintegrate into family life and to give my family time to get fully comfortable with my presence. It was just what we all needed and helped me get on my feet again as an individual so I could ultimately return to life at full strength. Also, the community support and the counseling Lighthouse provided only enhanced the recovery I was pursuing through the 12 Steps. This is a good place for a guy in early sobriety to safely reintegrate back into life, work, family and society and I’m forever grateful for the role Lighthouse has played in mine and my family’s life, as well as many other men who have stayed there through the years.

All of our Clinical Programs - Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Supportive Outpatient (SOP) are co-ed programs. Our Sober Living Program is male-only.

How do I get started?

We’ve streamlined our process to make sure getting help is easy. Most clients starting the Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program can get started as quickly as the next day after getting in touch with us. - Give us a call at (214) 396-0259 or fill out a Contact Form or an Insurance Verification Form on our website. - You’ll be greeted by an Admissions Specialist who will want to learn more about your specific situation and history. If Lighthouse is seemingly a good fit, we’ll set up a tour or an assessment so you can meet our staff and see the facility. - All clinical assessments are overseen by our Clinical Director, and she’ll make a recommendation for programming. - We’ll communicate with you about this recommendation and discuss insurance availability, pricing, and scheduling. - After that, it’s some simple paperwork, and you’re good to go!

What is the Lighthouse philosophy?

Lighthouse Recovery Texas | Sep 18, 2022

We address the core issues that continue to undermine long-term recovery. By providing a tailored approach for each individual, we can treat the root causes rather than just the symptoms. Every individual affected by addiction is capable of returning to everyday life if they are equipped with the proper tools.

How long does treatment last?

Although somewhat dependent on the individual and therefore the services provided we can speak in general terms about each service to offer a rough timeline: - Partial Hospitalization (PHP): 4-week program consisting of Group and Individual Therapy, and Psychiatric services for 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Most clients (95%+) after graduating from PHP will “step down” to the IOP level of care. - Intensive Outpatient (IOP): 3-month program consisting of Group and Individual Therapy for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. - Sober Living: we ask for a 3-month minimum commitment and most clients stay for an average of 4-5 months. We have had clients discharge successfully after 3 months and some stay for upwards of 2 years. It all depends on the individual and their progress. - Recovery Coaching: most clients work with a Coach for an average of 6-12 months.

How much does treatment cost?

Our goal, first and foremost, is to provide the best treatment possible. We have seen, far too often, clients and families coming to Lighthouse after numerous other failed attempts at treatment. We have built programming designed to give clients a foundation for lasting recovery. That being said, we operate differently, such as only allowing 8 persons per Clinical Group versus an industry average of 24. This means more staff, more accountability, and significantly better success rates. We decided as a company that working with most Insurance Providers on an In-Network basis would make treatment as affordable for clients as possible. This means lower deductibles and lower out-of-pocket maximums than other facilities. Cost should not be a barrier to treatment. Although all of our Clinical Programs such as Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) are covered by insurance, Sober Living and Recovery Coaching are not yet seen as “reimbursable services."

Do you require clients to go through your rehab? Can a person move directly into your house as long as they test clean?

Dale Richter | Oct 18, 2020
Lighthouse Recovery Texas | Sep 18, 2022

Thank you for your question, Dale. We offer a continuum of services tailored for each client and, correspondingly, work with clients during the intake process on a case-by-case basis. Although it is a requirement that all clients are medically stable before intake, it is our mission to reduce barriers to treatment. We generally do not require a specific "number of days" of sobriety.
