I successfully completed the 28day program at Nexus yesterday October 5th,2022. September was the best month to come for the program since it was Recovery month. Had so much fun without the need of drugs and alcohol we had carnival, guest speaker and a lot of fun activities. I want to give a shout-out to Nexus. Nexus is a life changing experience and its saving lives. Had the best counselor ever Erica/Angel are great. All the techs and recovery coaches, other counselors that give classes, all staff period is awesome. I highly recommend Nexus.

I highly recommend this rehab to any pregnant women, women with children, or just women in general who are struggling with addiction. I stayed in the PPWC dorm for over 70 days and i can honestly say that it has truly saved my life. Graduating was a bittersweet moment considering the strong bonds that I’ve made with the girls. They help you with so much and offer SO MANY resources. I am sooooo grateful to have made the decision to come to Nexus. I absolutely love this place, and the staff & clients who I consider family now.

Great staff, great techs, comfortable dorms and the food wasn’t bad either. This place exceeded my expectations, I am 1 year and 2 days sober since graduating! Keep up the great work Nexus!

I believe Nexus is a very good recovery Center. It does help especially if you do want it. It's all females it's a 28-day program that does help with counseling treatment parenting. The only thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the copsd program. At the time I was there they were a little understaffed in that department and I know additional trauma treatment would have helped a little bit more in my situation but continuing on the journey of sobriety after they've given you the tools and the skills is up to the individual.

Yes they do it's 30days to 90 ask them to email you a list
What about calling? Can i call out?
I did not have insurance when I went there my second time and they still let me in. It's government assisted so they got me funding.
Nexus is females only u want homeward bound and honestly if I where u I'd go to separate ones so u don't get influenced by the other I'm speaking from experience me and my ex went 3 times together and 2 times convinced me why we need to leave when I didn't want to so just think about getting help on an individual basis so u can get better and have the life you want together I'm not saying its not possible to get better together it's just really hard because it's a personal decision that one needs to accomplish alone to not be co dependant
Good question, Go ahead and show up at 6:45 a.m. (to be the first one there BEFORE anyone else, then ask for Audrey she is the director for women's in patient
Yourself. Just go!!!!!! What ever you don't have for example: Social Security Card, I.D. etc. They WILL HELP YOU GET IT GURRLL!!!!!.
Go to Nexus recovery center on Laprada it saved my life 9 years ago it is a great program.
I'm sorry I don't know. You need to actually call and talk to admissions or a counselor in the ppwc program
I can go to my son, he does not have insurance but he really wants to change
28 day government funded program.
Yes
No... Unfortunately they have to admit you during business hours due to the fact that you have to get processed in with a bed a counselor etc. So you must come when the Intake Administration is open..
Be the first one there. Be the first one to sign the walk-in sheet.. we got there @ 6 a.m. two days in a row. Ws got her in the second day.
Yes up to 12 years old.
You would have to call them and ask. Don't give up! Fight for your life! If you don't. You'll end up dead. Fight and find a rehab!
Depending on what program you get into, I can only answer about the PPWC program. We share a bathroom with the next room if you don't have your kids you share a room with another girl if you have your kids you get a room with your kids only but still share a bathroom with the next room.
Sponsors are through AA or NA
Call the facility to see what you're allowed to bring. They cannot confirm or deny if the person is actually there
Ok.... Now you will need to dress appropriately such as "Highschool" They call it the three B's.. meaning no showing Breast, Butt or Belly!!!! Do bring pens, paper, colored pencils. But no glue nothing toxic like nail polish remover. Dress appropriately... You come to change your life and you want to change " street clothes and language as well. It's not a boarding school or boot camp but it will make you feel better as a person and yourself inside out!!! If you don't have a lot of clothes they will provide you clothes once your admitted from the clothes closet.
Free
ABSOLUTELY PLEASE COME
It's a drug program they help u get sober
Yes if you quaiify. Which it was pretty easy if you dont have insurance and low income and its based on the amount you used plus im sure other things they will ask you.
I did call and they said they cldnt confirm or deny she thr...told me 28 days she would be out which is up today for sure...but no call or txt...she waa stabbed out thr as well so i was thinking maybe they keeping her longer
It last as long as your insurance or if you government assisted they’ll let u stay in detox for however many days those things cover for you. Some people it 3 some people it’s 13. They only really let opiate addicts and alcoholics go through the detox portion.
Nope
Perfect place for you I loved it

Depends on the reason they kicked you out but yes you can.

No idea on wait list. Must come in and talk to admissions. They can help if you don't have insurance
They unlock front doors at 7
Call the main ofc and they will let you know
It is for women only. The woman needing help should talk to admissions
Be there at 7am to sign in to talk to admissions. I believe they can help you get your id but not for sure on this.

Talk to your counselor
You must talk to admissions. They open tomorrow at 7am
Call admissions tomorrow am and ask
Go to admissions tomorrow morning at 7am to see if they an opening
I think so but go thru admissions to verify
I don't think admissions is open Saturday. However they've made quite a few changes. I'd look at the website. ALSO, there is a little trailer to the right and behind Green Oaks - it's open 24/7. You can always go there to start detox/be safe, and then transfer to Nexus Monday.
You would talk to the admissions department of out that because Nexus does have a director that allows children to come after detox
Yes just go!! They will help you .
No you "Don't have to be High" If you have a current problem with drugs then more than likely you will test positive for the initial drug test. This is to give you the proper treatment for you case. This is to simply test the type and levels of the drugs. Please don't try to get sober by yourself and not go to treatment. That is very dangerous.PLEASE do not get this confused.
No
Correct
Yes!!
Not with in patient but with outpatient i believe so
I haven't heard of one.
They can help u find those resources a lot women go in sober living and get jobs or join the 24hr club program
Get there early. Be the first one to sign in. If no beds. Don't give up. Be the first to sign in the next day. When we showed up.There was a 3 week waiting list. No beds available. Came back the next day . Again first to sign in. Got a bed that morning. I suggest 5:30 a.m.
Its $10
it's best to call and get an appointment but if you show up there at 6 in the morning you're sure to get in
Yes between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. just go up to the front desk and fill out a paper to whoever you want to leave your package to
That should work.. But I'd call & make sure
Yes. They have other programs that you may qualify for as well for low income. Its based on several things. One i remember is how much and how often you used. That determined if i was in patient or out patient.
Yes
They just serve women.
No
Is a 28-day program is a very good one also they have and women with children . Adult women's a teenager program age 13 to 17 also please give it a try it's great I just came home Thursday it's a great program and so many resources also is state-funded you don't need insurance
If there's no beds available. Don't give up. Show up at 6:00 a.m. and be the first Walk-in.Be the first to sign the walk-in sheet. It will most likely take more than a couple of tries. Don't give up. Keep trying until a bed is available. The staff and environment are amazing.
Does she have insurance? If she has insurance I would advise her to find a rehab that has a dual diagnosis program because this place did not help me with my depression or give me a dual diagnosis but this is a government assistant program so if she was to get in she can get in for free you just have to show up in the morning really early its first come first serve and it's at least 28 days 5 days in detox depending on what her drug of choice is. she doesn't get to use the phone because they want you to focus on yourself your sobriety and working on yourself. so she would get to use the phone when she gets out of detox and then when she's going through the program she gets to use the phone when her counselor says she can
They have a good women with children program. Its 90 days
I dont know answer about anything thats has to do with inpatient sevices. Idk how long they are. Most ppl that was in my group was there because of being made to by judge. So i cant advise. Call them. The one on laprada i hear is good but i know the class held on lemon was great. I enjoyed the instructor and things we did.
You go through assisted detox 5-10 days they really want u to be out by 7 days. Then you get moved into “adult inpatient” they give you this paper on everything you gotta complete before you can leave. Pretty much just meetings all day.
Call a suicide hotline. Idk
There's a program called Dogs Matter that might be able to help take care of your dog while you're in rehab.
Do they have visitations at all? Is every thing kept confidential such as intake or the admissions process, tests, etc?
