Absolutely! I've seen the local schools bring up their kiddos, maybe 1st graders? They did the lower trail and returned all laughter and like they conquered the world!
It is pretty easy. I've seen kids hiking there before.
Hello Michael, Yes it is. They also have a bathroom right before you park. Obviously bring water. The easy trail is in the woods. Opposite of main tral entrance. Blessings, John
Yes. I took my 4 year old. Hes been hiking here and there since 3. It's not rocky or anything. I think the length of trail is the hard part if you want to go all the way to the end..otherwise you can turn around anytime.
If the kids are relatively experienced hikers, it will be fine. Not too steep, no scrambling. Be properly prepared for the weather and for hiking in general.
We went there a few weeks ago we have a 8 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old. You can go down different paths, but there are a few areas that get close to edges with 20 or so foot drops. The boys all had a good time, next time we may go a different route. On your travel you will come up to a Y in the path, If you have younger ones, we went right and it was manageable, not sure but the left route may have been easier.
People take their kids there all the time. Depends on the weather and the kids. Take plenty of water 😉
