Nice short loop trails (2 to 3 miles)with some elevation. View meadows, pine woodland, lots of wild flowers in first if May,. Pineview trail, old Highline trail Probably more earlier. Lots of signage. This also is part of the bigger Arizona Trail.

Great place to go for a run, have a picnic, or go on a dog walk. There are portapottys in the parking lot.

Great area to hike and see nature. We took the easy route but it looks like there were several more difficult routes as well. Highly recommend visiting.

Took trail to Oak Springs. First mile from parking lot fairly flat through timbered area. Had to cross road to continue on trail. Next section 1000 ft elevation change, some straight up, some switchbacks . Drop down to the Springs. This area very nice. Overall good hike.

Yes
Looks to be wide enough. Take plenty of water
I don't think you have to "register". You show up & find a spot & can stay two weeks! We go all the time!
Absolutely! I've seen the local schools bring up their kiddos, maybe 1st graders? They did the lower trail and returned all laughter and like they conquered the world!
YES!!! You CAN camp here!! You're allowed to camp for two weeks. Right at the trailhead & it has a restroom. It's a great place to stay! And people, including locals, park and hike their gear up to camp up in the trails all the time. :)
I don't believe there is a campground right at the trail head. There is public restrooms.
