Amazing wildflowers the first 1-2 miles. Really step. Easy to follow. Beautiful green lake and the surrounding mountains. People fishing. Dogs swimming. First part full of aspens, then huge firs.

Incredible half-day hike. Pretty challenging first mile but incredible payoff at the top.

This is definitely a challenging trail for the first 1.5 miles which are straight up. After that, it is more manageable. The lake is bright green and so worth the effort to get there!

Great hike with some difficulties. I do not understand why some people on the trail were rude but.. it was an adventure
