Re Canadian Law. In divorce in canada I was granted alimony and child support. after 17 year marriage. never got it. did well on my own. never pursued. however, now in my senior years with fixed pension income can i go after alimony payments .

I got divorced after 20 years my exe threatened me if I asked for alimony but my health has deteriorated in the last 9 years can I still ask for alimony, I do need the money specially since disability says I'm not sick enough.
