I went to the Alta location of the Nevada tax Coalition to get assistance with filing a few tax returns. Upon arrival I filled out the proper paperwork and awaited my meeting scheduled for 11 AM. The woman behind the counter, an older blonde woman called me into her office. She was unaware I was doing multiple years and seemed frustrated by the situation. I went to ask her several questions to get started. When she noticed that I had some potential "Rental" income she abruptly stated " I can’t help you will need to get paid help good day". When asked why she said “Rental Income” is not covered so I will need paid help. I asked her to review the IRS definition of “Rental Income” to assure it applies to my context; she then became abusive and demanding and stated “Find it yourself get out!!!” and this woman preceded to orally evict me due to her own lack of knowledge or even willingness to help me obtain the proper information with professional courtesy to assure I got the proper assistance. She then called in her supervisor; a brunette woman who was much more civil but could not even properly discuss the issue with me due to her colleague’s constant interference. I decided to simply grab my paper work and exit the premises as it was clear this person did not know the answer to my questions or was willing to help me locate them and simply became irritated and abusive to patron when he asked for assistance with his valid questions. It is entirely ok if patron does not qualify; however, it is your duty to assist the patron with his questions and direct him where possible in order to assist him rather then set out to humiliate patron and abuse your authority as an employee of the Nevada Tax Coalition. Signed…..Disappointed and abused…..shame on you NV Tax Coalition!

They did my taxes the middle of February but IRS still does not have any information when trying to set up a payment plan. Taxes are due in one week. I guess I will have to make a trip there in person tomorrow or risk penalties.

They won’t be doing taxes I was told until a month or more from now because their system was compromised.
Here's the thing, I guess someone hacked into their system. If you think you owe money then you need to go get your income tax done. And pay sorry, If you think you have money coming back then just wait till they open up again. And they will. It's by Arizona Charlie's the same Shopping Center on the Northside. Of the shopping center. You won't get penalized if you got money coming back. Call the number on the front of the building and keep calling till they say it's open please make an appointment because right now it says not taking new W2s. Couldn't even get mine done I got money coming back so I'm not worried.
No its not. You can schedule an appointment online until October 15th 2022 if they have any appointments available.
You cannot make an appointment in person. Must go online for an appointment.
I tried twice & got in within a 2 week date. Keep trying. I have used their service last 3 year's & they are awesome, thorough, knowledgeable & everything is checked twice before you leaving their office. Their service is free & much needed for us on social security or low income. IRS has extended the deadline till may so keep trying website...its worth it being pleased with this wonderful organization that helps our seniors.
Call Nevada Partners and they will set an appointment for you, and give you the correct address. I did go on line, and was directed as to what I needed to do, from there.
