Legal Aid is federally funded. So no, you should not be charged unless you choose to hire somebody not affiliated with Legal Aid. I would suggest you browse their website and give them a call.
Legal Aid Center Southern Nevada is a different monster from what I seen in my research. Most legal aid centers in the US do her funded by the federal government. From what I have found so far. I’m the state of Nevada. The LACSN is a complete non profit organization. That gets its funding through private and corporate donations and not from the Cederal or State Governments. However if what I have found is incorrect. I would LOVE if you correct any of my misinformation. And show me where and how the US Government funds them. NEVADA SPECIFIC as all States are different.
If my case originates from a different state will you still refer me to an attorney here in Nevada who accepts cases (Pro-Bono) and if so should make an appointment?
