You pay when you exit parking . I got there early before 7 am and the cashier charged me $4 for about 3 hrs . You will be in and out . Very fast service

You already got answers from different people. But if you are looking for a free parking spot in the street, you can easily find one within a block or two. This is what I do all the time I go there.
Carol if you are wondering about street cleaning no need to but if wondering about street parking come a little bit early than appointment time so you can get a good spot because MTA drivers are getting off of work you'll be fine
