There is a Hyatt one mile west of the expo center
Not sure about the closest, but there is a Hilton Garden Inn on 100th south, just west of Monroe Street (255 west). That's probably 1 mile away. Just thought of another: a Hyatt Place at 9685 South Monroe. Straight down 9400 south, turn south, can't miss it.
