Like any reservoir in Utah the water is freezing cold. This reservoir is beautiful and small. The winds can get pretty strong, and people love to pull trailers full of ATVs and dirt bikes taking up more parking space than is allowed. Buy the $6 recreational pass before you go. The pass lasts for 3 days and it's the default choice when paying for parking.
