To volunteer in dogs you do need to be 18, but you can always do things like making toys and blankets for the animals there. You can probably walk the dogs with someone who is 18 who is a volunteer threre, you can always call and ask. They are very nice and love help! You can come and help in cats if you have an adult with you! They need petting, brushinh, and playing with. And the cat towers need to be cleaned too. As long as you aren't allergic to cats, this would be a great way to help!
Yes! Starting next Saturday we are. During the week we are open by appointment.
Have you thought of getting him/her registered as an emotional support animal? The apartment complex by Law would have to allows you to keep your pet. If you need to re-home, I would be interested.
I would just make sure they are safe and there are no small parts that can be swallowed 😊
Contact the no kill shelter on Redwood road in North Salt Lake. I'll see if I can find the name.
No not typically
No they don't take surrendered animals
Have you called the rescues phone number?
It's possible. But rescues normally take from shelters that are too full and not owner relinquishment. You can always call and ask. The worst they will say is no.
Hi there! We only work with dogs and cats. Sorry we can't help you! Stay safe.
It is not the centers job to help with a dog you adopted 5 years ago. It is apart of your family, you take it with you when you move and give it veterinary care.
Well these answers say yes, but when we went in yesterday the director told us we were not allowed to even look at the animals.
Utah Animal Adoption Center is a private, 501(c) 3 non-profit rescue. They have a Board of directors, but they are all volunteers.
They are very helpful and great, they are a no kill shelter so they will be safe until they are adopted
Yes
Yes on thei r website
I would take them in and see if they will take them. They are a really great center and do make sure bonded pairs stay together.
Usually medium to large dogs are $125 (senoirs are $50). I believe she has a lot of applications in for her, so I would call UAAC to get more details.
I wouldn't know. You can call and ask. Not sure if you will get an answer.
I would take it to the Humane Society or get a rescue for it.
