Hi Nitza, We're very sorry to hear that the new housing does not allow pets. You can find more information about surrendering a pet to the VBSPCA at https://vbspca.com/surrender/https://vbspca.com/surrender. While we do not classify ourselves as a "no-kill" shelter, we do maintain a live release rate of around 90%. This means that around 90% of the animals that enter our shelter each year are either adopted or transferred out to a rescue organization. We only euthanize in extreme circumstances where an animal poses a significant risk to the public or has a significant, unresolvable health-issue that would result in suffering. We never euthanize due to a lack of space or because of length of stay. You can learn more here: https://vbspca.com/faq.
