I usually go to a diff Y but when I visit this one I notice the cleanliness of locker area and general still ‘ newness’ of the building. My experience with all staff has been pleasant. Sorry to hear anything different.

My family and I been members since 2014 and stayed with the Y even when Covid hit Because it used to feel like home for our community Lately the place is dirty management doesn’t seem to care It all started with cutting back opening hours to sell the after hours package Not to mention the 2 hours closure for stay and play from 1-3pm Not to mention the biggest issue this summer of the indoor pool, that’s been used by sentara therapy team from 8-4pm EVERDAY OF THE WEEK With kids out of school we can’t even enjoy the indoor kids pool I guess renting to sentara brings better money You get a membership with pool access but CAN NOT use it After 4pm you can use the pool that’s when almost everyday we have a thunderstorm in the afternoon so we have to exit the pool for safety Management refuse to answer my phone calls and discuss the issue
