Hi Tyra. We have accepted exotic birds in the past on a case by case basis. Please visit https://vbspca.com/surrender to view our intake hours. We highly recommend that people call ahead at 757-427-0070 before coming to the shelter to surrender a pet.
I have seen birds there; however, I'm not sure if it depends upon type, size, or how many are currently there. If they don't, I'm hopeful they will be able to guide you in the right direction.
