Animal Services does take in reptiles, but currently we have some construction going on in our lobby and we cannot utilize our small animal adoption room. We are asking citizens to hold off on small animal surrenders until the room is open again. Please check with a local rescue group called Viper if you are in need of re-homing a snake sooner than we can assist.
As a volunteer there I can say I've seen all kinds of animals there but never a snake.
