I haven't lost connection due to bad weather ever even in the worst storms
You need to get your connection looked at. There's no reason your signal should degrade during bad weather. You probably have an old junction box or poor cabling.
Another reason, why net neutrality, is so important. If they are removed, as a utility, they can throttle your service & make "fast lanes" if you wanna pay extra, so your shows don't buffer, when you're trying to watch them. #netneutrality
its a physical cable... how would bad weather degrade the signal? and to the lady talking about net neutrality.... that has nothing at all to do with this. they already do throttle your bandwidth to offer different speed packages. your connection isnt uncapped. of course you can pay extra for a faster uplink.
I haven't had any issues so far
Lol soooo true...
Physical cable can incure all sorts of damage such as squirrels which chew the cable allowing moisture and outside interferences to get into the cable. Cable will start to corrode and the only fix is to replacement. I've been a catv tech for 25 years so I've seen my fair share of damaged cable.
