I got a call from a number that said spam alert, the recording said something about my ss number has been suspended. Thats not a thing is it? Has anyone ever heard of this?

I have had similar calls recently. I am contacting my local office to find out whether this is legitimate. The person who called me wanted me to verify my SS#, so I assume this is an effort at phishing.
