Dress very warm, or buy something warm when you get here. Not all January's are brutal in the city. Climate change is real and winters have not been brutal here in a while! Lived here since 1981. 3/4 waist coats, heavy sweaters, hoodies, goose down vests etc. The city(Manhattan) is known for those surprise around the corner winds! But there's no real snow in the last few years. Not like the 70's,80's and 90's. Snow lasted until May - June!! I swear! Just keep up with the weather apps etc. Enjoy your trip every time! 🙏🏽❤️💯

U have to bear in mind it’s gonna be a cold (extremely cold weather) .. Never to forget wearing heavy clothes and anti-rains especially with ur umbrella all the time .. it might be snowing.. u’ve to double check the forecast.. but enjoy it anyway .. it will -for sure- have a different experience from mine ..
