It is generally safe but as in any metro area you should be aware of your surroundings.
I honestly felt pretty comfortable visiting here. It was 11pm when I took the W subway back to the SI Ferry terminal and walked over there. Just watch your surroundings and get your eyes filled
the bridge is usually pretty safe but one you get off always be aware of your surroundings especially on smaller streets and near subway exits
Not at all.
No feel
Is super safe the Police allways around
We did it as a family at sunset recently : we did not feel unsafe at any moment when crossing the whole bridge.
It depends on the mode of transport that u will be taking after visiting the Brooklyn Bridge. It is summer now, so it is still pretty bright at 7pm+.
Idk about this bridge, but we walked the Manhattan Bridge at dusk and it was safe. I think the Brooklyn Bridge would be even safer.
Generally speaking, it is fairly safe any time you go. The police regularly patrol the area, even at night. As many people have already mentioned, just be aware of your surroundings and be cautious of strangers who approach you.
It is safe but you're in NYC so keep aware.
I don't know if it is anymore safe day vs night. With people back to almost normal, there will be tons of people there when you go. I would suggest whatever time you go, bring someone with you and be aware of everyone around you at all times.
No there was plenty of people you couldn't tell if I was tourist. always b aware of your surroundings!...
I was there in he morning to mid day. It felt very safe. Tons of people around. I can't comment in night time safety.
No
No, not at all.
It is usually a safe place however, with all the issues today, in an urban area, crime is on the rise, BUT...I wouldn't worry too much about it. Enjoy your stay.
