I'll answer a couple of your questions in one post this time--we do appraise jewelry! Depending upon the value of the piece or your willingness to spend money, we can offer a free in-store approximation of a piece's authenticity and value, or we can send it out to our highly-qualified appraisal partner for $90. Any piece we create can be sized for free within the first year of its purchase, cleaned for free forever, and repaired if there is a structural flaw in its crafting. Regular wear and tear are not typically covered, however. Additionally, while art is not returnable, we want everyone who engages with the New Gild brand to love what they take home, because after all, love is what we do best. If there's an issue with a piece, we will work on a case-by-case basis to arrive at the best outcome for our customers. We do repair jewelry as well as watches and can restring pearl necklaces, too! yes, at a few levels. we're happy to provide detailed documentation for any piece of custom jewelry we create at no additional cost. if we didn't make the piece, we use an expert third party appraiser to prove the documentation you need for insurance purposes.
