Because this consulate has bad service to make notarial powers that never have spaces to make appointments since I have 3 months and still lacks all the obstacles that they put for any formality.

About the letter. Notarial. Go with a notary is faster and more effective

Hi all, The powers granted abroad by a local notary public have the same validity as the powers granted by a notary public in Mexico, but must meet certain additional requirements for its validity in Mexico such as the apostille, the translation into Spanish by an expert translator official authorized by the Mexican courts and subsequently must be notarized before a Mexican public notary. Additionally, the foreign public notary who grants the power must issue a notarial certification stating that he knows the person who requested the power, among other things.

It's very strange, I made an appointment online last Friday, and I have it for this Thursday, there were more hours available and days of the week too.

If I'm 6 months old and I can't make an appointment, it's always the same as filing a complaint with Ana Flores.

Very true

Alicia Solis | Oct 6, 2020

What is the apostille can someone solve my doubt?

Maricela Paino | Oct 7, 2019

Well, I made a power of attorney here in NY with a notary and they told me in Mexico that it had no validity because it lacked a seal. I do not know if it's true or just that in Mexico you're stuck, but I'm trying to make an appointment with the consulate and then to the telephone number neither they attend you and on the Internet they are saturated and the appointments are made every Friday there says

Mariana Postigo Garcia | Oct 7, 2019

I have been trying for more than 6 months EVERY Friday at 6 pm and only the legend not available appears and denies me access. Going in person is a waste of time because they only attend by appointment and they send you to do it online. It's a vicious circle... I'll try it with a notary. I hope they accept the letter for my process.
