Hi - My wife owns property in India, she wants to sell it. we have the sale deed. Would the consulate attest the papers? we also need to get her power of attorney to get attested as well. Please suggest what are the steps and documentation needed?

Go to website and fill out the miscellaneous form for power of attorney and property deed attestation separately. Once you have that you will also get a list of documents you will need to present, they charge you 22$ per copy for attestation. Let me know if this helps.
